TV Installation
Need someone to pick up, deliver and install your new TV? We can, and show you how it all works! Modern plasma and lcd tv’s are big, and even bigger with the packaging and box. They need careful (vertical) transportation to avoid damage and careful handling when being set up. Connections to DVD, Blu-Ray players, media players are all part of the service.
Wall Mounting
Did you know the ideal tv viewing position is when the bottom or middle of the screen is at eye level? May be slightly higher with a tilt-mount. If your sofa or entertainment unit are not at the right height consider wall mounting your television to avoid neck strain for a more comfortable viewing experience and also for added security. We can supply and install fixed mounts, tilt mounts (tilting down in a vertical direction) or swing/tilt mounts that allow the screen to face wherever you are sitting. This is especially useful if you want to watch the news with dinner but want to move to the sofa later to watch a movie!
Cabling
Got wires running all over the floor? Surround sound systems really bring movies to life, but also come with many wires. Let us set your surround sound system up so that it sounds as good as it can and so that the cabling is hidden from view. At the same time, consider whether it may be prudent to install network cabling to the entertainment unit. With the advent of the National Broadband Network coming soon, it’s a fair bet that all content delivery to your big screen will be by network cable rather than antenna.
Media Players
If you enjoy watching downloaded movies on the big screen you need a player. Sure an old laptop may do, but it’s not the best tool for the job. There are thousands of media players on the market, so which one to choose? It all depends on what you want it to do, whether you want it to just play movies, or stream content from You Tube, US or UK tv. We have the answer to these tricky questions so that you can watch the content you would like, when you like!

Like to watch overseas TV here in Australia? Miss your favourites shows from abroad? If you’ve ever tried to watch say, the BBC from the UK you may well be blocked.

You will need broadband or NBN internet to be able to stream video media, around 5mb/s for high definition content, wireless internet will not have the required throughput. This also applies to internal media streaming from say an office PC to a lounge room media player. Wireless may work, but it will cease to work well the higher definition the content.
